All entrants must work in order to have their times count.
Members of the Steering Committee which require work tasks at the event or in setting up the event will be assigned as "ADMIN" and will not have to work a specific run group.
Since the Steering Committee class representatives are expected to act as "social" connections between their classes and the Steering Committee their task load should be light and they will be expected to work a work group assignment.
All other entrants are expected to work a work group assignment.
Work group assignments are based on the run group that a competitor runs in. The actual task within that work group will be assigned based on the entrants request on a first-come, first serve basis.
A entrant can request a different work group, if sufficient workers can be found to cover their position in the assigned work group. This is particularly encouraged for those worker tasks involved in setup and teardown of the event.
In the case where attendance at an event is too low to cover all worker positions, a request for volunteers will be made first. If insufficient volunteers are found then the Steering Committee members present will be expected to work the vacant assignments.
