Ø
Conduct/Working: Anyone who drives in an unsafe manner, shows blatant disregard for
fellow entrants, officials, rules or their purpose will be subject to
disqualification and/or suspension. All
entrants are required to work. Those
who do not will be disqualified and may be suspended for the next event. No
alcoholic beverages or impairing medications are allowed.
Ø
Spectators and
Children: Spectators and
children must stay only in identified safe areas.
Ø Speeds:
Speeds in the immediate area will be 5 mph or less.
Ø Waiver: Everyone present must acknowledge and sign
the Release and Waiver of Liability Agreement form.
Ø Internet Registration: If unable to attend and you have
pre-registered via the Internet you MUST notify the Registrar via email at
least 24 hours before the start of the event.
Failure to do so will be defined as a “no-show” and may affect your
future use of Internet pre-registration.
Ø Minors Riding: Younger passengers may ride only if they are 12 years old, at
least 54 inches tall, and the parent provides a helmet of the correct
size for them (we have no junior-size helmets).
Ø
Riding With Others: You may not ride with another competitor
until after you have taken your official timed runs.
Ø Car Numbers, Classes and Run Order : Cars will be numbered by run group (A-1, B-2, C-5, etc.). Cars in the same SCCA Open classes listed
above will run in the same group. All other local classes will have a choice of
run groups. Car number and class
designation must be placed clearly on the car at tech inspection
(commonly white shoe polish on windows). Car classing is to be done at
Registration or Tech by the entrant (help
available if needed – ask!).
Ø Tech Inspection: Park and unload
before going to tech, have the Entry Form completed, signed and in hand, the
car ready to run. The following items
- steering, battery, wheel lugs & bearings, tire pressure & condition,
throttle spring, muffler (93 decibel
limit), no loose items, no fluid leaks, seat belts - will be closely
checked. Bring your Snell 1995 or better helmet if you have one (loaners
are available).
Ø No nitrous bottles may be present at the event
site
- Please detach before arriving.
Ø Keep the site CLEAN: Pick up your trash,
cigarette butts, etc.
Ø Protests: Any disputes should
first be discussed and solved directly between the involved parties (SCCA
official available if requested). Should there still be the need to protest a
driver, car, event procedures or results (scoreboard), this must occur within
30 minutes of the end of the event (the last class run). Deliver in writing to
the Solo 2 Director or Event Chairperson with exact specifics as to the issue.
A protest committee will be formed of three SCCA officials who will review the facts and make an immediate
decision on the site.
Ø Trophies and Scoring: Trophies awarded to
33% of the field plus one. For each Series an entrant must run at least 3 of
the 4 events to qualify for trophies (or two of the three), and will be scored
on the best 3 scores from the four events (worst score dropped). Your Series and Event Points will be PAX
Points. Winners will be decided by highest PAX total. Ties will be broken only by head-to-head result, otherwise
duplicate trophies will be awarded. PRO class payout for 4 event Series will
be: 1-$75, 2-$60, 3-$45, 4-$30, 5-$15; 3 event Series: 1-$60, 2-$45, 3-$30,
4-$15.
